Job summary

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) or Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) to join SE Essex MHST. The role involves delivering evidence-based interventions in educational settings for CYP aged 5-18, with a focus on mild to moderate mental health needs.

You will assess and plan with schools and families, work autonomously within your scope, and use ROMS and clinical tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans for intervention and agreed outcomes with schools, children, young people and families.
• Work as autonomous clinicians within scope of practice alongside education colleagues.
• Complete comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, care plans and reviews.
• Utilise ROMS and clinical tools to guide practice and inform service planning.
