Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher for a long-term position starting in September in Darlington. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of learning, have strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and experience in EYFS settings.

Early Years Teacher

Location: Darlington

Start Date: September

Salary: £120 - £140 per day

Are you a passionate Early Years Teacher who can inspire a love of learning from the very beginning of a child's educational journey? Do you have a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child-centred learning? Are you looking for a long‑term opportunity within a supportive mainstream Primary School?

The school is looking to take on an Early Years Teacher on a long‑term basis from September. The successful Early Years Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging EYFS lessons, supporting children's development across all areas of learning and creating a positive and stimulating classroom environment where pupils can flourish.

The successful Early Years Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
• Experience teaching within an EYFS setting
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, child-centred lessons
• A positive and nurturing approach to teaching and learning
