About The School:

This specialist provision supports students aged 11 - 16 who have been excluded from school or are at risk of exclusion. With a focus on core subjects, vocational training and alternative learning, the school helps students build confidence, resilience and the skills they need for a brighter future.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 mentoring, supporting students both academically and emotionally
  • Assist with personalised timetables, including off-site activities such as outdoor education and vocational training.
  • Foster a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment, prioritising student wellbeing
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with EHCPs
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff and parents/carers

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in education, youth work, coaching or support roles (minimum 3 months child based experience in the UK, including voluntary work)
  • Proactive, resilient and enthusiastic, with a passion for helping young people thrive
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage students
  • Adaptable and flexible - every day presents new challenges and opportunities
  • Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car for off-site activities
