Job summary

St Cuthberts Roman Catholic High School is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join the Trust at the start of a journey of transition and growth. You will support the teacher, students and the school under supervision and contribute to learning activities.

The role focuses on safeguarding, inclusion, and building positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers, while promoting high expectations and supporting the school's curriculum.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with and/or caring for children.
• Ability to organise and manage learning activities in a way that keeps children safe.
• Awareness of, and commitment to inclusion in a school setting.
• Awareness and understanding of school curriculum.
• Ability to establish fair, respectful, trusting, supportive and constructive relationships with children and young people.
• Ability to recognise and respect contribution that parents and carers can make to development and wellbeing of children and young people.
