Job summary

Education Support Administrator (Clinical Exams) at Eurobioimaging Exeter is a part-time 0.8FTE role available immediately on a permanent basis. Hybrid working: 3 days on campus and 1 day from home. Salary £30,878 per annum pro rata.

You will support the BMBS Medicine programme, coordinate teaching sessions and examinations at Heavitree Hospital, and manage complex schedules and data with excellent Excel skills while delivering a student-centred service.

Education Support Administrator (Clinical Exams)

Salary will be £30,878 per annum pro rata on GradeDsubject to knowledge, skills and experience.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working: 3 days on campus and 1 day from home.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team and play a key role in the journey of our medical students from undergraduates to future doctors.

The Education Support Team provides essential operational support for teaching and assessment activities across all five years of the BMBS Medicine programme in Devon. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive administrator to support the delivery of clinical skills teaching and examinations.

In this varied role, you will:

  • Coordinate and support teaching sessions and examinations at Heavitree Hospital.
  • Act as a key point of contact for students, staff and NHS partners.
  • Manage complex schedules, records and data with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Use advanced Excel skills to analyse information and support programme delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a high-quality, student-focused service.

You will be required to work flexibly throughout the year, including supporting scheduled examination activities where attendance is essential.

About You

You are a confident, organised and adaptable individual with excellent communication and IT skills. You enjoy working in a busy environment, balancing competing priorities and delivering high-quality administrative support.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience working in an administrative environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex data.
  • The ability to build positive relationships and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work independently when required.
  • Experience of organising events, assessments or large-scale activities would be advantageous.
