Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is recruiting six Family Practitioners to help shape a new Education & SEND Family Help team across Warwickshire. You will undertake direct work with children, young people and families, delivering practical interventions to improve school engagement and wellbeing.

The role involves working with multi-agency partners, coordinating plans, and potentially taking the Lead Practitioner role to support inclusion and stability in education.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering direct work with children, young people and families.
• Hold a Level 3 child and family qualification or Level 4 or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of SEND, neurodiversity, mental health and education needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical, evidence-based individual and group interventions.
• Work with families and multi-agency partners through one coordinated plan.
• Take Lead Practitioner role where appropriate to support inclusion in education.
