Job summary

Enfield Council is recruiting two Education Child Protection Practitioners to join our Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT). The roles require Qualified Teacher Status and substantial experience in education safeguarding, based at Thomas Hardy House, with a 36-hour week and a permanent contract.

The post holders will work in a co-located MACPT with health, police and children’s social care partners, ensuring safeguarding duties are met and decisions are well informed.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status is required.
• Significant experience in educational settings to safeguard children at risk.
• Ability to work with health, police and children’s social care partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative education input to child protection decisions.
• Liaise with senior education leaders and Designated Safeguarding Leads.
• Offer consultation, advice and guidance to education providers.
• Support timely information sharing and professional challenge.
• Contribute to safeguarding practices and service development.
