Job description

We're looking for a passionate and experienced education professional to become the education voice within our new Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT).

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role at the heart of child protection decision-making, ensuring that children and young people's educational experiences, outcomes and vulnerabilities are fully considered alongside safeguarding concerns.

Working across education, social care, police, health and partner agencies, you'll gather and analyse educational intelligence, identify emerging risks such as poor attendance, exclusion and disengagement, and provide professional advice and challenge to support informed, child-centred decision-making.

What you'll do:
  • Represent education within multi-agency child protection activity.
