Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Education Recruitment Consultant to join our Cannock team. Based in our Cannock office (WS11 7FD), the role offers a full-time permanent position with the possibility of a 4-day week or shorter days.

You will source and place high quality candidates into the Skills and Employability sector, manage end-to-end recruitment cycles, and work closely with hiring managers to fill roles.

Qualifications

• Experience as a commercial Recruitment Consultant.
• Excellent people skills and clear telephone manner.
• Experience sourcing candidates via job boards and applications.
• Experience managing the full recruitment cycle from screening to placement.

Responsibilities

• Source and place high quality candidates into Skills & Employability roles (perm, part-time, contract).
• Achieve recruitment placement targets and report performance to management.
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand recruitment needs.
• Telephone interview suitable candidates and provide consultative career guidance.
• Submit suitable candidates with CVs and Cover Sheets to clients.
• Arrange interviews, collect feedback, negotiate offers and manage placements.
• Maintain back office recruitment software and records.
• Prioritise workload with initiative and motivation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, who a proven track record of working as a Recruitment Consultant, to join our growing team.

Role: Education Recruitment Consultant

Location: Cannock office based - WS11 7FD

Salary: Competitive Salary + Bonus scheme

Job Type: Full time - Permanent (possibility to accommodate a 4 day week or shorter days)

What you'll need;

• Experience of working as a commercial Recruitment Consultant, supporting external clients with their recruitment needs.
• Excellent people skills, clear confident telephone manner and ability to listen to your candidates and clients needs.
• The successful candidate will have experience of sourcing candidates through job board searches and applications.
• Experience of managing the full recruitment cycle from initial screening, to cv submission, interview and outcome.
• Attention to detail and initiative to manage their own activity
• This role requires a pro-active individual who can demonstrate the passion, resilience, drive to succeed

The role:

• Source and place high quality Candidates to a variety of job roles within the Skills and Employability sector - permanent, part time and contracted positions, through proactive job board searches, Candidate applications, professional networking and recommendations / referrals
• Achieve recruitment placement targets in line with company expectations and report performance data to line Manager.
• Work closely with Hiring Managers to support with their recruitment requirements.
• Telephone interview suitable Candidates using KM's screening process and offer consultative advice regarding job search and opportunities.
• Submit suitable Candidates to our Clients, ensuring the utmost checks have been carried out in regards to accuracy and quality - CV and Cover Sheets
• Arrange interviews, take and deliver feedback from all parties, negotiate offers and manage placements - all with accuracy and in a timely fashion.
• Maintain back office recruitment software.
• Manage and prioritise your workload using initiative, enthusiasm and motivation.
