Job description

Job Title: Locum Educational Psychologist

Day Rate: £650 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: South London Local Authority

Contract Length: 6 Months (with a view to extend)

About the Role

We are working with several South London-based Local Authorities seeking an experienced Locum Educational Psychologist to support their statutory assessment services on a part-time or full-time basis.

This position is suitable for professionals who can conduct a minimum of 2 statutory assessments per month and collaborate with the EP service to maintain consistency.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Educational Psychology
• Registration with HCPC
• Availability to complete at least 2 assessments per month
• Experience working as an EP within a Local Authority setting

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face statutory assessments of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities. Assessments can be written up at home or in the office.
• Manage demand and allocate time effectively for assessments and planning.
