Job Description:

Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking a CAMHS Mental Health Social Worker, Therapist, Psychologist, or Psychiatric Nurse (RMN/CPN/Art/CBT/Psycho/Occupational/Clinical/Counselling) at Band 5/6/7/8A to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Newham, Greater London. The role is Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, with flexibility encouraged for part-time applicants. This is initially a locum position with potential for permanence.

We seek highly motivated and skilled mental health professionals to work with young people experiencing mental health issues in the community. Candidates should be able to work independently and collaboratively, possess excellent communication skills, and have a solid understanding of risk assessment and planning within home and community settings. The role involves providing outreach crisis support to children and young people (CYP) and their families, supporting CAMHS assessments, and delivering treatment interventions, including assessments at local hospitals.

The pay rate ranges from £21.71 to £39.71 per hour, depending on experience, with negotiations possible for highly experienced candidates.
