Job Description:

This role is for a SEN Teaching Assistant aspiring to become a Clinical Psychologist, working with children with autism in primary and secondary settings in Woking. The school is one of Surrey's best SEN schools, offering a safe environment for children with complex learning, social, and communication difficulties, including physical disabilities. They provide therapies such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, music, speech, and language therapies, integrated into Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). The team collaborates closely with therapists to support children's physical and emotional needs. Facilities include a therapy pool, sensory rooms, and I-Gaze technology. The school offers excellent on-site training and support, facilitating career progression to roles like senior support assistants, teachers, or therapy assistants.

Responsibilities:

Summary:

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Clinical Psychologist - Autism

Location: Woking

Salary: £89 to £105 daily (9am-3.30pm, 5-day week)

Type: Temp-to-perm contracts, full-time and part-time roles, flexible hours

Start date: May 2025, with a 1-year contract
