Job summary

SENse Learning in the United Kingdom is seeking Education Mentors to provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support for young people in homes and community settings. This impact-first role focuses on confidence, life skills, and emotional regulation beyond academics.

We offer flexible hours, in-person, hybrid, and community-based sessions, with competitive hourly pay £18–£23, and a supportive team structure including safeguarding and DBS assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with children or young people with complex needs.
• Roles suitable: LSAs, TAs, Youth Workers, or similar care/education backgrounds.
• UK-based with right to work; enhanced DBS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with children and young people in homes and community settings.
• Deliver one-to-one mentoring and life-skills activities.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support emotional regulation and independence.
