Job summary

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) to join the Lambeth Mental Health Support Team (MHST). You will work with schools to deliver Guided Self-Help for children and young people, supporting anxiety, low mood and behavioural challenges.

The role involves both face-to-face and remote delivery, collaboration with education and health colleagues, and participation in workshops for the wider school community to promote wellbeing.

Qualifications

• You will deliver 1:1 and group-based Guided Self-Help interventions.
• You will work autonomously with supervision from senior staff alongside education and health colleagues.
• You will deliver interventions face-to-face and remotely (e.g., via MS Teams).
• You will support the Whole School Approach by facilitating workshops for the wider school community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 low-intensity Guided Self-Help interventions for children, young people, and families.
• Work autonomously with appropriate supervision within a multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver interventions in group formats where appropriate.
• Collaborate with schools, social care, family and health professionals to support wellbeing.
