Job summary

East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust is recruiting three Band 5 Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) for the Peterborough and Huntingdon areas. The roles involve delivering evidence-based mental health interventions to children and families in educational and community settings, with supervision and a focus on early intervention across schools.

Qualifications

Qualified EMHP with registration requirement (BPS or BABCP)
Ability to deliver evidence-based, child-centred interventions
Ability to work autonomously within education and health settings
Ability to carry out risk assessments and safeguarding procedures

Responsibilities

Assess and deliver evidence-based interventions for children/young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties
Develop and practise holistic mental health assessments including risk formulations
Support access to specialist services when needed
Provide staff support in education settings to identify mental health issues
Deliver services within education settings and maintain records and data for service improvements
Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and participate in supervision and training
