Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a talented Lead Chef for the Education sector at Alperton Upper School, HA0 4JE. The role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only (39 weeks) with free parking and benefits through PerkBox.

You will lead food production, manage menus, and uphold hygiene and safety standards in a school environment. We are committed to safeguarding children; all roles require safer recruitment checks and a DBS disclosure.

Qualifications

• Excellent team player.

• Understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures.
• Able to pass DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Effective and efficient food production in line with recipe sheets
• Full knowledge of all menu items served
• Management of production to ensure minimal wastage
• Maintenance of food levels throughout all service periods
• Maintenance of food quality and brand standards
• Ensuring the maintenance of high hygiene and health and safety standards in line with Aramark requirements and identify any anomalies and incidents
• Capturing and recording all volumes consumed and overproduction
• Assisting in the compilation of all shifts opening and closing checklists
