Job summary

Berkeley Scott is recruiting Education Chefs for temporary assignments across Cardiff and surrounding locations, ahead of the new school term. You will be employed on a temporary basis to cover holidays, sickness, and vacancies in busy school kitchens.

Key duties include preparing meals, supporting kitchen operations, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and allergen awareness. Flexible shifts and weekly pay are offered across various educational settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in schools/education catering, care homes, or high-volume kitchens.
• Enhanced DBS certificate is required.
• Food Hygiene Level 3 certificate held.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving nutritious meals for pupils and staff.
• Supporting the day-to-day running of school kitchens.
• Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards.
