Job summary

Berkeley Scott is recruiting experienced School Chefs for temporary assignments across Bath and surrounding areas ahead of the new term in September. You will prepare nutritious meals, support kitchen operations, and uphold hygiene standards in educational catering settings.

A current Enhanced DBS and Food Hygiene Level 3 are required. Roles include covering shifts, holidays, sickness, and busy periods with flexible schedules, paying up to £23 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous chef experience in schools or education catering
• Current Enhanced DBS Certificate
• Food Hygiene Level 3 Certificate
• Strong understanding of allergens and dietary requirements
• Reliable and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for pupils and staff
• Support daily kitchen operations
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health and safety
• Cater for allergens and special dietary requirements
• Assist with stock control, food preparation and kitchen cleanliness
