Job summary

Education Chefs - Cardiff is a temporary role based in Cardiff with weekly pay and holiday pay included. Assignments begin in September across primary schools, secondary schools, academies, and other educational settings in the city and nearby areas.

You will prepare and serve nutritious meals for pupils and staff, support daily kitchen operations, and uphold rigorous food hygiene and safety standards. Dependable chefs who can adapt quickly to busy catering environments are sought.

Qualifications

• Experience in schools or education catering preferred.
• DBS certificate current.
• Food hygiene level 3 certificate held.
• Understanding of allergens and dietary requirements.
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for pupils and staff.
• Support day-to-day running of school kitchens.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Cater for allergens and special dietary requirements.
• Assist with stock control, food preparation and kitchen cleanliness.
