Job summary

Turn IT On is seeking an IT Manager to oversee the curriculum and administrative ICT network in a school environment. You will lead on installation, maintenance, security and performance of the ICT infrastructure to support teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years’ experience in a school IT role, strong communication, and a proactive approach to improving IT services. The role is full-time and on-site in Bromley.

Qualifications

• Experience 2–3 years as IT Manager or equivalent in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of school ICT requirements and governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management, installation, maintenance and security of the school ICT network.
• Manage network infrastructure, switches, servers, Microsoft 365 and backups.
• Provide technical advice and training to staff to enable effective use of systems.
• Line manage ICT support staff and deliver weekly service updates.
