Job summary

St Bede's & St Joseph's Catholic College is seeking an IT Technician to provide day-to-day IT and AV support across two college sites and feeder primary schools.

You will support staff and students, manage tickets via Halo ITSM, and help deploy Microsoft 365 and Intune, while maintaining asset records and assisting exams and events. This varied role requires practical problem solving and a flexible approach to support outside regular hours.

Qualifications

• Practical experience diagnosing and resolving IT hardware, software and connectivity problems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra and device-management systems.
• Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, networks and wireless equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow service-desk procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive day-to-day IT support for staff and students.
• Manage and update support tickets via Halo ITSM.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops and peripherals.
• Deploy applications and device policies with Intune.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra accounts and licences.
• Support AV equipment, livestreaming and CCTV systems.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for examinations and events.
• Maintain asset register and stock checks.
