Job summary

PlanetRecruitment seeks an ICT Consultant to support a secondary school in Dulwich, ensuring reliable IT across all sites. You’ll maintain hardware, install software, manage accounts, and help teachers deliver ICT-enabled learning.

The role requires 2+ years in ICT support, strong communication, and a proactive approach. DBS checks and safeguarding are required, with a salary of £28,000–£33,000 per year and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ ICT Technician/2nd line support experience, preferably in education.
• Strong technical background and commitment to customer service.
• Ability to explain technical issues in plain language.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IT hardware and services across the school sites.
• Install/repair computers with standardised apps and networking software.
• Provide user support and resolve technical problems.
• Maintain knowledge of Office365 and common apps.
• Work independently and with the team; communicate effectively.
