Job summary

Harbour Learning Trust is seeking an organised and proactive HR Advisor to deliver practical, customer-focused HR support across our multi-academy trust. The role focuses on employee relations, absence management, recruitment, safeguarding compliance and probation tracking, reporting to the Head of HR & Safeguarding.

Based at Lincoln or Grimsby, the role offers a part-time, permanent opportunity with a view towards progression to an HRBP role in the future.

Qualifications

• Proven experience handling operational HR casework and building strong relationships in a complex environment.
• Sound working knowledge of employment law, safeguarding compliance, safer recruitment, and GDPR data protection regulations.
• Experience presenting case information or taking minutes at formal HR hearings.

Responsibilities

• Provide sound, consistent operational support on employee relations, absence management, probation tracking, recruitment, and safeguarding compliance.
• Build effective working relationships with Principals and leaders across our schools to deliver pragmatic HR guidance.
• Assist with safeguarding and HR governance duties, including SCR compliance and policy reviews.
