Job summary

NFP People in London is seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to grow income and help young people from under-resourced backgrounds access top universities. Hybrid work with attendance at the London office for meetings and events.

You will lead a portfolio spanning trusts and foundations and individual giving, strengthen donor relationships, and develop compelling proposals that demonstrate impact. The role supports a multi-year fundraising strategy for ambitious growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience securing six-figure grants from trusts and foundations.
• Experience delivering income growth through individual giving.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with donors and stakeholders.
• Experience line managing, coaching or mentoring colleagues.
• Knowledge of the UK fundraising landscape and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Delivering income targets across trusts and foundations and individual giving.
• Securing new funding and developing existing donor relationships to encourage renewals and increased support.
• Writing persuasive funding applications, appeals, donor communications and impact reports.
• Planning donor engagement activities and supporting fundraising events.
• Managing donor pipelines, monitoring performance and providing accurate forecasts.
• Line managing and developing a Senior Fundraising Coordinator.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring fundraising activity meets relevant regulatory and data protection requirements.
