Job summary

MAMA Youth Project in London is seeking a Fundraising Manager to grow income, diversify funding, and expand the donor base. You will identify opportunities across trusts, foundations and corporate partnerships, writing compelling bids and funding applications.

Working with the CEO and team, you will develop and deliver the fundraising strategy, managing donor relations, reporting progress, and ensuring financial targets are met while sustaining the charity's mission to transform lives through

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in fundraising.
• Proven track record of researching, writing and editing successful funding bids.
• Experience securing corporate donations or funding and developing partnerships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing project costings and budgets for funding applications.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working in a fast-paced fundraising environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop bespoke trust and grant applications and tender bids with input from the team.
• Identify prospective funders and cultivate relationships with donors and partners.
• Write compelling proposals to raise revenue and secure third-sector grants.
• Manage end-to-end bid processes and ensure timely submission and approvals.
• Oversee grant reporting calendars and maintain accurate donation records.
• Support programme and impact communications through stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure timely thank-you communications and donor stewardship.
• Monitor fundraising progress and report outcomes to stakeholders.
