Job description

Looking to join a respected public service organisation making a real impact across communities? This role offers the chance to inspire the next generation, support life-saving initiatives, and play a key role in educational development on a national level.

In the Education & Engagement Officer role, you will be:

  • Providing educational learning sessions for children and young people across schools, colleges, and community venues
  • Contributing to the creation and enhancement of educational materials used throughout Wales
  • Attending both regional and national meetings focused on prevention and safety initiatives
  • Recording and evaluating participation figures from educational institutions and youth audiences

To be successful in the Education & Engagement Officer role, you will need:

  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Confident and fluent Welsh language skills – spoken and written
  • A willingness to travel across North Wales as required

This is a fixed term contract for 6 months (maternity cover), working37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
You'll be starting on a salary of £30,559 per annum + benefits (pro rata for fixed term). The role is office based in Wrexham, with travel requirements across North Wales.

Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references required.
