Green Economy (part of the Growth Company) has an exciting new opportunity for a Communications and Engagement Officer to deliver activity and campaigns that accelerate the UK’s transition to net zero.
Applicants will develop content and campaigns, maintaining good relations with internal stakeholders and external partners to support the onboarding of eligible clients to Green Economy’s support programmes and the delivery of wider Green Economy objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and write Green Intelligence news content, sourcing updates, market trends, and best practices to drive business engagement.
- Manage and maintain the Green Economy website, including case studies, impact reports, and live data visualisations, with a meticulous and highly organised approach.
- Lead innovative and disruptive communications campaigns aligned with the Communications Strategy, collaborating with internal stakeholders to challenge norms and spark engagement.
- Develop compelling marketing collateral and manage digital channels including social media, email marketing, and monthly reporting, with a flair for creative storytelling and strategic disruption.

Skills Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience in B2B marketing and environmental communications.
- Strong digital skills including CMS, Canva, social media, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of net zero, green technologies, and environmental policy landscapes.
- Experience in event management, media relations, and content development across multiple platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively, disrupt conventional approaches, and implement organised systems that drive impact.
