Job summary

The Hyndburn Academy is seeking a Data Officer to join our data and safeguarding team. You will manage the MIS, ensure data quality, and provide reports to senior leaders to support school improvement.

You will work with curriculum teams and external organisations, handling confidential information with discretion, and promoting accurate census, attendance, admissions, and data processes to help every learner succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience with school data management and MIS is preferred.
• Strong IT, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the school's MIS.
• Ensure pupil data is accurate and compliant.
• Produce reports and analyse data for senior leaders.
• Support attendance, admissions, and census returns.
• Work with staff to ensure smooth data processes.
