Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is sourcing a Data Officer for an independent secondary school in Birmingham. The role covers daily data maintenance, MIS updates and producing staff reports to support assessment periods.

You will work with SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom and operate with strong attention to detail, reliability and timeliness. A data-focused background in education or administration is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel and IT skills are essential.
• Experience with school MIS or data reporting is advantageous.
• Ability to work accurately with large data sets and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate student records and update MIS.
• Support reporting cycles and census information.
• Produce reports and spreadsheets for staff and leaders.
• Process data requests from teachers and senior staff.
• Assist attendance, admissions and exam data management.
• Support data-driven decisions and improve processes.
