Job summary

Steplab, a UK-based PD platform for schools, is hiring a content designer to refine and develop the Steplab content library of action steps and PD courses. The role collaborates with video production and supports a growing team.

You will create teacher-facing resources and thought-leadership pieces, engage with school leaders and coaches, and help implement evidence-informed professional development across schools. Flexible work, remote with occasional London meet-ups, start January 2027.

Qualifications

• Extremely strong written communication skills.
• Experience in designing professional development resources for teachers.
• Understanding of educational research on pedagogy and leadership.
• Ability to build relationships with teachers, coaches and leaders.
• Strong organisation and workload prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Refine, create and develop the Steplab content library of action steps and PD courses.
• Collaborate with video production to create model teaching videos and resources.
• Manage the library of implementation and support articles for user success.
• Create thought‑leadership articles and resources for Steplab's views on teacher PD.
