Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a General Assistant to join our education catering team at one of our prestigious locations. You will assist in breakfast, lunch and dinner service, ensuring meals are prepared to recipe standards and served with a smile to students and staff.

Ideally have experience working within Education catering
Health & Safety knowledge

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
