Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a General Assistant for a new site opening in January 2027. You will prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and hospitality services, while maintaining front-of-house and kitchen cleanliness. A strong focus on food safety and customer service is essential, with opportunities for training and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch & hospitality services across the site
• Maintain cleanliness of the front of house and kitchen areas
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to customers
• Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
