Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Security Officer for an immediate contract role at Stephenson Campus in Loughborough. The role requires a valid SIA licence and a focus on delivering professional customer service while maintaining a safe environment for students and staff.

You will de-escalate incidents and work with campus teams during a 1-3 month contract. The position is full-time, on-site for 37 hours per week with a pay rate of £15-£20 per hour inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Security Licence.
• Experience as Security Officer or similar security role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to de-escalate challenging situations in an education setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment across Stephenson Campus.
• Provide professional customer service to students, staff and visitors.
• Monitor the site and respond to security incidents.
• Use de-escalation techniques when dealing with incidents.
• Support the implementation of security procedures within an education setting.
• Liaise with college staff and relevant personnel as required.
