If you answered yes to the above, we would love to hear from you. We have an exciting opportunity to join the established, collaborative, and dynamic Peer Review Administration (PRA) Team. The PRA Team manages the peer review and article acquisition process for journals across various subject areas.

About the role

Your focus will be managing the peer review process for a portfolio of journals in STM (Science, Technology, and Medicine) fields.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Performing administrative tasks related to a list of journals, including building and maintaining stakeholder relations.
  2. Researching and proposing innovative developments and efficiencies.
  3. Collaborating effectively with the PRA Team through sharing best practices and discussions.
  4. Acting as the central point of contact for queries at any stage of manuscript processing.
About you

You are well-organized, passionate about data management, accuracy, and communication. You aim to enhance your understanding of academic publishing and advance your career.

Success in this role requires proactive and autonomous work to ensure smooth peer review processing and ongoing efficiencies.

  • Knowledge of submission platforms (preferably ScholarOne Manuscripts and Editorial Manager), familiarity with publishing workflows including peer review.
  • Proven ability to deliver training.
  • Proficiency in Office software and IT skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
