Job summary

Scovai seeks a Renewable Energy Programme Director in Edinburgh to lead delivery of offshore wind and grid infrastructure portfolios, working hybrid. You will own governance across multiple projects, coordinate with Crown Estate Scotland, marine licensing authorities, and Ofgem through consent and connection processes.

You will build a team, manage budgets, schedules, and risk, and represent the programme to investors and regulators while driving local content and net-zero delivery strategies.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience delivering cross‑functional offshore wind & grid infrastructure programmes.
• Strong governance and interface skills with regulators and stakeholders.
• Experience leading multi-project governance and budget/schedule control.

Responsibilities

• Own governance across multiple offshore wind and grid projects.
• Lead EPC contractor selection, negotiation and performance management.
• Manage risk, budgets and schedules through investment milestones.
• Build and lead a team of project managers and technical leads.
• Oversee stakeholder engagement with coastal communities and regulators.
