Job summary

Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Project Officer to support the EDI team in delivering programmes that advance belonging and inclusion across the University. You will manage project plans, coordinate meetings and communications, and build strong relationships with internal and external partners to drive our Equality Objectives forward.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of strategic EDI projects and programmes across the University.
• Developing and maintaining project plans, tracking milestones and monitoring progress.
• Coordinating meetings, events, staff network activities and engagement initiatives.
• Diary management for the Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
• Supporting communications activity through digital channels, intranet content and internal campaigns.
• Managing team administration, including diary management, procurement processes, event coordination and stakeholder communications.
• Gathering feedback, analysing data and preparing reports that help inform future activity.
• Building effective relationships with colleagues and external partners to support collaborative delivery of EDI priorities.
