Job summary

Rowden Technologies Ltd. is seeking a technically capable professional to own deployments for customer environments, including discovery, design, integration and testing. You will work hands-on with cutting-edge sensing, AI and edge tech across UK sites and international deployments.

The role requires frequent travel to customer sites and is suitable for candidates eligible for DV clearance. A hybrid working model is supported with flexible office attendance.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with practical programming experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go or Java.
• Solid Linux, networking, APIs and modern software development practices.
• Experience integrating, deploying and troubleshooting software across cloud and/or on-prem environments.
• Familiarity with containerisation and deployment technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working directly with customers or end users to understand problems and deliver technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and clear communication across engineering and customer teams.
• Ability to own technical problems from discovery through deployment and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customers and end users to understand missions, workflows and operational challenges.
• Design pragmatic technical solutions using Dovetail products and customer systems.
• Deploy, test and troubleshoot products across cloud, on-premises and edge environments.
• Act as the technical link between customers and Rowden's Product and Engineering teams.
• Capture feedback and insights to inform future product development.
