Job description

Fixed Term - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a Painter & Decorator to join us working on our East End Homes contract, based from our office in London, E1 8HP.

About the Role

Working to deliver the best quality service, you'll be carrying out responsive and planned painting and decorating to both occupied and void properties, including glossing, emulsion, papering, and addressing damp and mould issues. You'll ensure effective preparation techniques, producing 'perfect' finishes on all applications, whilst delivering exceptional customer service to ensure our customers always come first. Multi-skilled in plastering and tiling would be advantageous. You'll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided), working efficiently and safely in line with best practices to achieve excellent customer experience.

About You

Candidates will hold a relevant trade City and Guilds qualification, C&G Craft or Level 2 in a relevant trade or equivalent, or be working towards it. A CSCS Card - Blue or working towards it, with excellent health & safety knowledge, is required.

You should be customer-focused with experience working in both occupied and void properties, with a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time. The ability to work as part of a team and independently is essential, along with good knowledge of damp treatments to fulfill this role. A valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for at least 12 months is required, as a company vehicle will be provided for work use only.
