We are actively seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Our local Commercial team has grown rapidly over the past 14 years, now comprising over 200 people across the UK. In this role, you will build rapport with new and existing clients, ranging from sole traders to MDs/CEOs of large organizations, working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.

About you:

  • You have experience winning new business and building long-lasting relationships with B2B clients.
  • You are passionate about developing business through marketing, community engagement, networking, and client meetings. A strong market presence is key to your success.
  • You are tenacious with a business curiosity, enabling you to identify and explore new business opportunities for optimal client outcomes.
  • You are eager to learn, adaptable, and looking to progress your career as a Commercial Account Executive while furthering your professional qualifications.
  • You are consultative, capable of questioning effectively, and an active listener. You understand client requirements thoroughly and can advise on suitable products and solutions, always seeking a ‘path to yes’.
