We provide a wide range of services including acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health care to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
Position: Clinical Fellow in Dermatology
This full-time position is available for a 12-month period starting from August 25.
The adult dermatology services are managed by the Clinical Directorate of Dermatology at the Alan Lyell Centre for Dermatology. The department operates on a hub and spoke model, with some specialized and tertiary services based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. It serves as the regional adult dermatology center for approximately 1.5 million people in the West of Scotland.
Each site offers a variety of dermatology outpatient services. The services are delivered by a multidisciplinary team including Consultants, Specialty Doctors, GP Clinical Assistants, and Dermatology Nurses. The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital serves as the hub for subspecialty clinics and the tertiary inpatient unit.
Applicants without UK foundation programme experience within 3.5 years of the start date must submit a Certificate of Readiness to Enter Specialty Training (CREST), completed by a suitable consultant.
