Job Description:

Role: Station Systems Technician (Level 4)

Location: United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts to make a significant impact on critical infrastructure. This role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between early shifts (6am-6pm) and late shifts (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Perform planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who can multi-task and are eager to learn. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between early and late shifts.
