Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) - United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attend planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Utilise field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking or electrical background.
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies and Lates.
