Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts who value the impact of their work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks that contribute to the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6 am-6 pm) and Lates (12 pm-12 am).

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Perform planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning, especially those with experience or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving skills
• Full UK Driving License
• Availability for 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
