Security Operations Manager

Company: Mitie Business Services – Security

Hours: 45 hrs per week – Monday to Friday (Flexibility required as hours may vary)

Mitie is seeking a Security Operations Manager to oversee the branch and business plan, ensuring the division meets its objectives and targets.

The Operations Manager will manage the daily operations of the branch through effective staff and customer management. Working closely with the Regional Management Team, the role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, ensuring employee satisfaction, and supporting regional growth plans.

Main duties include:

1. Completing employee welfare checks
2. Assisting with monthly branch-based business reports
3. Recruiting, motivating, and training staff to ensure proper staffing and resource allocation
4. Managing customer requirements through visit reports as needed
5. Conducting staff appraisals, setting objectives, supporting development, and planning succession
6. Building and maintaining positive relationships
7. Acting as Duty Manager on a rota basis for the manned guarding business

Requirements:

• Full clean driving license
• Front line SIA license
• At least 2 years of security industry experience
• Financial awareness
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proven problem-solving experience
