Job Opportunity: Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Fault finding on a range of electrical and electronic equipment, including some three-phase appliances.
• Undertaking electrical, electronic, and mechanical repairs on various equipment safely and professionally.
• Preparing equipment for external repair.
• Testing completed repairs (including PAT) and managing the return to stock.
• Collaborating with the inventory team to maintain appropriate stock repair supplies.
• Supporting repairs administration with costs of repairs when required.
• Prioritizing incoming repair stock and deciding on the most cost-efficient repair options.

Requirements

• Experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical repairs.
• IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate confidently with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
• Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of planning workload and managing multiple jobs.
• Experience in electrical repairs, including three-phase, is advantageous but not essential.
