APEM is looking for seasonal ecologists to assist with ecological field surveys across the South-East of England. Ideal candidates are graduates or post-graduates passionate about ecology, willing to work flexible hours. The role offers valuable field experience and the chance to work with an experienced team on diverse projects.
Are you a graduate or post-graduate with a passion for ecology, looking to gain experience in ecological field survey work? Do you want to utilize and develop your natural history and field identification skills by conducting surveys for Britain's protected species such as bats, badgers, and great crested newts?
Aspect Ecology is seeking seasonal ecologists to assist with survey work, primarily focused on the South-East in Kent, Sussex, and Essex. We also welcome applicants from areas near our office, including Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, and surrounding counties.
You will work with and be supported by an experienced team of terrestrial ecologists providing ecological consultancy services to high-profile clients, focusing on integrating ecological habitats and wildlife benefits into new developments. The role involves conducting terrestrial ecology surveys, site supervision, and working with species such as bats, reptiles, and great crested newts, with potential to work with dormouse and badger. You will also gain experience in data collection and simple reporting from survey results.
