The Procurement Consultant role within Altair is part of the Procurement stream, focusing mainly on the housing and local authority sectors, with plans to expand into other sectors such as education, sports, and charities.

Location: Home working, with travel to clients and offices required
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours, Monday to Friday
This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional to apply their skills across diverse projects.
Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to client requirements and specific spend categories (e.g., repairs & maintenance, planned works, IT, professional services).
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a procurement or buying role, ideally with exposure to public sector procurement, Local Authority, or Housing Management Sector.
The main purpose of this role is to manage compliant public procurements and support the development and growth of Procurement as a core service at Altair.
