Are you an experienced procurement professional with a background in the Defence sector? Join a leading consultancy and take on high-impact commercial procurement projects across critical infrastructure and construction categories, with opportunities to work on other defence-related procurement as well. This role offers the chance to deliver strategic sourcing and procurement transformation initiatives for some of the most significant defence projects in the UK.

With a focus on infrastructure and construction procurement, but open to other defence categories, this role is perfect for a procurement professional with security clearance (SC) or eligibility for it. You will engage with key stakeholders to deliver tangible value and play a vital role in shaping procurement strategies across major defence projects.

• Lead strategic sourcing and procurement transformation initiatives for both public and private sector clients within the Defence sector, with a focus on construction and infrastructure procurement.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from supplier negotiations and contract management to project delivery and cost optimisation.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across key defence projects to understand their procurement needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Proven experience in procurement within the Defence sector, particularly in infrastructure or construction categories, though other categories will be considered.
• SC clearance (or eligibility for SC clearance) is essential.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage with high-level defence clients and manage complex procurement projects.
• A background in strategic sourcing and commercial procurement, with a track record of delivering cost savings and operational improvements.
• Experience working with defence procurement regulations and frameworks, ensuring compliance and best practices in security-sensitive environments.
• Exposure to public sector procurement and regulations is beneficial but not essential.
