We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 nurses to join our Emergency Department at Whipps Cross University Hospital. The Adult Emergency Department is currently undergoing an exciting period of change which is reflected in the management of patients and the opportunities available to staff for personal and professional growth and development.

The role will offer you a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in emergency care and enhance your professional development. We provide a comprehensive orientation program and ongoing mentorship to ensure you build confidence and competence in an acute care setting. Main duties of the job

The post will be based at Whipps Cross Hospital which is located in Leytonstone, East London, a vibrant area known for its rich diversity and culture. Situated just a 15-minute tube journey from Central London and the West End, it offers easy access to some of the best attractions and amenities London has to offer. The area also boasts Westfield shopping centre and the iconic Olympic Village, as well as the natural beauty of Epping Forest nearby, perfect for outdoor activities and relaxation. We have a wide range of benefits available to staff including the on-site Tomswood Health and Wellbeing Centre which offers a variety of fitness classes, including Zumba and Pilates, promoting physical and mental health.

The hospital is undergoing a major redevelopment, which includes the creation of a new, state-of-the-art, sustainable hospital.
