Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real impact in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs? A mixed primary and secondary SEN School in Blackpool is seeking a Teacher to join their team on an agency basis, supporting a Year 11 class with mixed abilities and a variety of SEN needs, including ASD and SEMH needs.
Ideally, the school hopes to appoint a fully qualified teacher with experience working with Specialist Provision; however, they are open-minded regarding applicants being ECTs, RQTs, and/or experienced FQTs. You would be working within a secondary class, but the school has indicated that individuals with primary experience would also be considered due to the cohort's needs.
Within this role, you will work closely with support assistants and adapt medium-term plans to meet the needs of the children. Each learner’s individual needs are considered to ensure all children’s needs are effectively met.
